Waterville USA family Water and amusement park or simply known as Waterville, a beautiful, fun and safe setting and a great place for a family holiday , a family with kids of all ages. Waterville U.S.A. is a 20-acre water park and amusement park attractions ,located in the beach resort community of Gulf Shores, Gulf State Park, the park has a nearby golf course, a quarter-mile from the Gulf of Mexico beach , Alabama. During the Waterpark season, both parks are open at a special price .The park opened in 1986, and since then has added numerous water and amusement attractions for all ages to enjoy.
Waterville U.S.A. main attractions centered around a 25,000 square foot wave pool, a 1,800 foot float river, an area for kids, a 300 foot triple drop water slide, a 350 foot enclosed ultra high speed water slide, and a 450 foot blind high speed water slide. and a 450 foot blind high speed water slide.
The water park has rides for everyone with big variety of water park activities.Enjoy water attractions like flowrider, three foot waves in the wave pool and all sorts of water and body slides,as adrenaline pumping slides, and a fun, bright kiddie area . Take a Visit of the attraction park after a day of water action with attractions like go-karts, a large roller coaster, laser tag, miniature golf ejector seat and The Cannonball Run wooden roller coaster,motion theater ride, kiddie rides, arcade games and many more.
Over the years, Waterville has had to remove and replace attractions due to hurricane damage and the datedness of the attraction. In September 2004, the eye of Hurricane Ivan which was a large, long-lived, rare classical Cape Verde-type hurricane, the hurricane moved across the Gulf of Mexico to strike Gulf Shores and the surrounding areas, Alabama as a strong Category 3 storm, causing catastrophic damage to Waterville. Because the park is close to the coastline, Repairs went on during 2005 and 2006, and the park fully reopened in 2007 with new replacement attractions , Triple Dog Dare, a turbo body slide that gives you the unique sensation of weightlessness as you shoot over the humps.
From I-65 Take the Bay Minette exit and head south on Highway 59. USA is approximately one hour from the I-65 exit. From I-10 take exit 44 Loxley and proceed south on Highway 59. Once you enter Gulf Shores you will come to the Intercoastal canal bridge.Waterville USA is located at the 5th red light after the Intercoastal Canal Bridge on Highway 59.
